Mobilize the alumni on climate change

MIT's alumni are an incredible resource - living in geographies around the world, working across a variety of industries and sectors, they are a scientifically informed, pragmatic community of leaders. Let's mobilize them to broaden our climate change impact way beyond the walls of MIT. First we equip alumni with simulation tools and games (like those developed at MIT Sloan with ), talking points, training on facilitation, and educational resources. Then they engage their community organizations, their children's schools, people in their workplaces, in a frank, fact-based conversation about climate change strategies and policies. This kind of mass education and mobilization is a prerequisite to any progress on climate policies, whether they focus on taxing emissions or investing in new technologies and infrastructures.
