Furniture: One DLC's loss is another DLC's gain
When small groups (labs, offices, etc.) renovate their spaces, furniture is usually discarded via (1) the email@example.com list, (2) movers who take it to the campus equipment exchange, or (3) the trash (or another unknown area?).
And, although (1) and (2) are awesome - they're mainly ways for DLCs to discard things, not for DLCs to OBTAIN things. So, DLCs typically purchase brand new, expensive furniture.
Could MIT create a system that lets used furniture go from one DLC to another?
